Norman Lezin, Founder
Along with caring colleagues and friends, educating at-risk

As former mayor of Santa Cruz, Mr. Lezin became acutely aware of
the growing problems facing the youth of Santa Cruz County. nowing
if someone did not take responsibility for providing options for
teens dropping out of school, the quality of life of community at
large was in jeopardy.

tannery, for more than 50 years. Because of his outstanding reputation
as a business leader, Mr. Lezin was elected to the Santa Cruz City
Council and later was elected and served as Mayor of Santa Cruz.

of the Port District for thirteen years. Among many commendable
