Felix is a college dean with deep ties to the K-12 community. In his position as division dean of business, English and Language Arts at Cabrillo College, he has a history of service to students. Mr. Robles has spent 32 years in education and education administration, with seven years as a K-12 trustee for Santa Cruz City Schools. In addition to his work in education, Mr. Robles has been a board member with the Cabrillo Music Festival, the Santa Cruz County Symphony, and an art museum. He is past president of the Santa Cruz County Cultural Council and the Central Coast Counties Development Corporation. Mr. Robles’ impact is felt throughout Delta as he participates in supporting Delta students as they transition to Cabrillo College, offering students a glimpse into their possibilities that exist for their own futures. He holds a B. A. in Spanish/French Language and Literature and an M.A. in Spanish Literature, both from San Jose State University.
Claudia is just completing her third year as a trustee on the Santa Cruz City School Board. She served 12 years on the Habitat for Humanity board, two as president, was appointed by the Board of Supervisors to the SC County Child Care Planning Council, and worked on the Preschool for All committee. Claudia teaches preschool 3 days a week, coordinates a childcare support program, Casa Pequeňa, at Cabrillo College, and is an infant/toddler specialist for WestEd. Claudia believes in investing in our future through quality early care and education for all our children.
Kit has been a member of the Delta Board since 2004 and has been Board President since 2006. Before that he was on the Boards of Ecology Action, the Santa Cruz Youth Soccer League, Santa Cruz Unified School District, Santa Cruz Cultural Council and KUSP radio. In 1982, Kit founded 'Woodstove and Sun' and ran it as a contractor and retailer until he sold it to employees in 2004. In retirement, Kit enjoys gardening, playing bridge, fly fishing, hiking, reading and writing. Of all these activities, Delta is the most satisfying and its growth and success in the last few years brings him great pleasure.

Norman Lezin, Founder
Along with caring colleagues and friends, educating at-risk youth has always been the dream of the Delta founder, Norman Lezin. As former mayor of Santa Cruz, Mr. Lezin became acutely aware of the growing problems facing the youth of Santa Cruz County. nowing if someone did not take responsibility for providing options for teens dropping out of school, the quality of life of community at large was in jeopardy.
Mr. Lezin was CEO of Salz Leather, a successful tannery, for more than 50 years. Because of his outstanding reputation as a business leader, Mr. Lezin was elected to the Santa Cruz City Council and later was elected and served as Mayor of Santa Cruz. Mr. Lezin has an extensive history of social action serving as Chairman of the Port District for thirteen years. Among many commendable appointments, Mr. Lezin was chosen by Governor Pat Brown to lead the coalition setting fair wages and working conditions for women and children in the State of California. Mr. Lezin brings to Delta his unique vision and experience, sharing with Delta students hope for their futures, inspiring them to success.
