Delta High School’s annual operating budget is approximately $500,000. 75% of the budget is from the state funds based on the school’s average daily attendance, (ADA). Santa Cruz City Schools, Delta’s chartering agency, also disperses monies from special state education funding identified for instructional materials, equipment, and special education services.

Nearly 20% of Delta’s funding comes from people who make donations to support this important work! To continue making a dramatic difference in the lives of high-risk teenagers, Delta School relies on the generosity of these individual donors. Delta gladly accepts donations of cash, checks, MasterCard, Visa, and appreciated stocks and other securities.

Important Notes regarding escrip:

• When you choose a group, select Delta at Cabrillo in Santa Cruz - Group #6494976. (Delta's mailing address is in Santa Cruz.);
• Even if you are already registered, please log in to check your account. Safeway requires that your card is confirmed annually so your contributions may not be coming to Delta;
• In order for Delta to receive a percentage of your purchases from Safeway, you must SWIPE your card. If you enter your phone number instead, no contributions are sent to Delta.
• After you have registered your cards, check with your friends and family to see if they are willing to register their cards for Delta School. This is an easy and free opportunity for Delta and we want to take full advantage.
