Tati Starets is new to Delta as of last year, and is absolutely ecstatic to be part of the team.  Tati is one of the Social Studies department of two, and her classes center around global history and current events with a particular focus on issues of social justice.  Tati grew up on the northern California coast and moved to Santa Cruz in 1998 to begin her college career at Cabrillo.  She then transferred to UCSC where she obtained her BA in American Studies.  During her undergraduate studies, Tati had the chance to be a volunteer tutor here at Delta.  She knew immediately that she wanted to end up teaching here someday, and now her dreams have come true!  This is her fourth year teaching high school, as she spent her first three years teaching in PVUSD.  In her free time, Tati loves to hang out with her weenerdog, hike, camp, travel, eat good food and enjoy friends and family.
